Gaza Response - January 2009

IHP was in regular contact with the WHO, DFID and some of the principal NGOs operating in Gaza to ensure that key medical supplies were available. While there was no need for a general appeal for medicines, there were specific requirements that needed to be met.  IHP sent 15 emergency kits (approx 20,000 treatments of essential medicines) on January 9th with World Emergency Relief, working with the Royal Jordanian Army’s mobile hospital, to meet those needs.
