Our objective is to complement the activities of the Ministries of Health in the countries we serve
IHP works with governments, international aid agencies and NGOs to enable the delivery of sustainable healthcare programmes supporting the UN agreed Millennium Development Goals.
IHP was initially provided with seed funding by the UK Government to set up the present network that brings togther companies and medical charities in common cause to rationalise and improve the use of medical donations. Our overseas work is, wherever possible, coordinated in conjunction with the WHO and the local Ministry of Health.
