Who can apply?
Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in the UK rely on IHP to ensure that all donated medicines and medical supplies are handled in a secure and professional manner and that the terms and conditions outlined in this application will be fully respected and complied with. Accordingly, IHP only releases Doctor’s travel packs to qualified UK registered doctors, although in certain circumstances carriers need not be medically qualified.

How is the Programme funded?
The UK's pharmaceutical and healthcare companies donate the medicines to IHP. Individuals, companies, clubs and foundations contribute to meeting a portion of the costs of sourcing, processing, assembling and packing a travel pack. We request a contribution of £250 per pack from the recipient doctor and ask them also to seek to identify a sponsor who will contribute £120 (or £10 a month for 12 months) to help cover the remainder of these costs.  These sponsors may be individuals, companies, clubs or foundations who contribute to meeting a portion of the costs of sourcing, processing, assembling and shipping a travel pack.
